About Our Maisonette

Our garden “maisonette” is a private 310 square foot studio home with a fully equipped kitchen built for a chef. The maisonette is nestled between the woods and our “potager” vegetable garden in a calm and peaceful setting just a 5-minute drive from downtown Eureka Springs.

The luminous main space is laid out as half kitchen, half bedroom with a queen-size bed and small sitting area. The sunny bathroom opens directly onto the garden patio walkway via sliding glass door and features a walk-in Italian-style shower, single lavatory, and toilet.

Serene and bathed in natural light, the maisonette features a chef’s kitchen with a garden view, ample countertop workspace, dishwasher, full-size clothes washer and dryer, electric range with oven, full-size refrigerator with freezer, and a high-quality drinking water filtration system. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and serving up to 4 people.

To ensure comfort, a mini split air-conditioning and heating unit has been installed. 

An outdoor patio with table and chairs facing the garden offers a tranquil place to dine, read or savor the sunset. The patio perennial garden welcomes butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. The outdoor sitting area on the east side offers a view to the woods and the rising sun.  

Please note: We live on the property in the main house about 100 feet from the maisonette. A 4-foot privacy fence separates the maisonette from our yard.

We are happy to share tips on where to find easy parking in town, favorite hiking trails, and the best eats. Bicycles and kayaks available for use.
